 By Rick Levine If you’re trying to avoid a commitment, you may not be able to escape it too much longer. Unfortunately, your current options may not include what you’re looking for now. You might become so discouraged that you want to throw your hands up in the air and just walk away from it all. But accepting defeat won’t make you any happier. It’s better to admit your dissatisfaction and continue to search for common ground. Be persistent and you will find a way through this uncomfortable dilemma.
I was having a tiny relationship issue… I’m glad I didn’t just say screw it.  I know I was pretty much on the verge of not going back, but you know… I love my boyfriend, and I just couldn’t throw it all away.  There’s nothing horribly wrong with us except we don’t spend enough time together, and the time we do spend together doesn’t seem to managed properly.  Lack of communication?  Yes… and that’s something we’re working on.  Every relationship has problems, but mine has tiny ones that aren’t even problems.  They are just annoyances that can be worked out.  So again, I’m glad I didn’t allow it to be over.  I know I’d be far more miserable if I was single.  ;)
